Terms and Conditions

1. No pets accepted.

2. Bookings made 5 weeks in advance require 1/2 deposit, with the balance due 5 weeks before commencement date. We reserve the right to pass on any charges arising from representing cheques

3.Bookings made within 5 weeks of commencement date require payment in full.

4. Payment Options. We accept cheques in £ sterling drawn on a UK Bank. Payment from overseas. We may accept cheques in £ sterling drawn on a non UK bank but please contact us first. You must add an extra £10 to your payment if you do the latter.

5.Non payment of either the deposit or balance by the due date may be taken as a cancellation by you.

5. A reservation will be held for 5 working days to enable you to get payment to us.

6.A booking is not confirmed until payment has been received and cleared by our bank. Once cleared a receipt confirming your booking will be sent to you. In the event we are unable to accept a booking we will notify you and any monies received by us will be refunded immediately.

7.For a cancellation we will charge a £25 administration fee. We use our best endeavours to re let. If successful we will send you a refund less the administration charge. If we are unable to re-let at the full rate any refund will be pro rated. We strongly recommend you arrange holiday travel insurance.

8. The holidaymaker agrees to keep the chalet and contents clean and tidy and as they found it, and to take good care of the property. The Holidaymaker agrees to pay for all damages they have caused less reasonable wear and tear. The holidaymaker agrees not to cause annoyance or become a nuisance to occupants of nearby or adjacent properties. If guests do anything which the Management deem detrimental to the Park it will be considered as a breach of contract and the guests will be asked to leave the site immediately and no refund will be made

9. Bookings will not be accepted from single persons under the age of 21, nor from all male or female groups of more than 3 people.

10. No more than 8 people may occupy the chalet and only those stated on the booking form.

11. You agree to allow the owner and her servants right of entry during reasonable hours for inspection, to do necessary repairs, and to maintain the grounds- grass cutting and such like.

12. All bed linen and towels are NOT supplied by the owner.

13. Holidaymaker agrees to vacate premises by 9.30am on the day of departure and to arrive no earlier than 4pm on arrival day. The holidaymaker accepts that they as tenant have a right to occupy the premises for a holiday within the meaning of section 9 of the Rent Act 1977. The holidaymaker accepts they have no right to remain after the stated departure date.

14. If due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the owner the owner has to cancel such as death, serious illness, fire, flood, or any other act of god, the liability of the owner will be limited to monies already received in payment, and these will be immediately repaid in full.

15.Only guests listed on the booking form may occupy the chalet and any breach of this shall entitle Coast View to terminate the contract forthwith. Any changes to the people in the chalet must be notified to us and agreed prior to arrival".

16. The booking is accepted on the strict understanding that the persons under 18 years are not permitted to drink or buy alcoholic beverages in the Coast View Club House. Any person found doing so will be expelled together with all persons named on booking form. Over 18's will need I.D.Children welcome in club house but not in bar area."

17. Please advise estimated time of arrival on the booking form. In the event your arrival is going to be delayed, if you have not contacted Coast View on 01626 872392 by 6pm on day of arrival, we will assume the holiday is to be cancelled and monies retained. After reception is closed keys can be obtained from the main bar.

18. Neither Coast View or Chalet owner will accept liability for any personal injury, loss or damage which may be sustained by the guest/s or their property while on the holiday park except when it arises from negligence of the company or its employees

19. Coast View Management reserves right to withdraw or alter amenities or facilities or any part of the programme of activities as either advertised or previously available.

20. Coast View cannot consider any claims of shortcomings after you have left the park and therefore any shortcomings must be notified immediately.
